After their previous two losses to Collingwood in the home-and-away competition, tonight's finals clash should see my beloved Swans move on to the next finals round. The Swans brilliant win of 72 points over Hawthorn last week in Round 22 has raised the confidence of the red and white boys plus the return to the team of Barry Hall after resting his injury last week will see them victorious. Unfortunately Ablett is out with an injured knee after playing strongly and courageously last week.
You only have to look at the photo above of Brett "Captain" Kirk and Peter "Spida" Everitt to see their strength (and Brett's sexy good looks). The photo is from The Daily Telegraph.
Still in the team is rookie Ed "Cheese" Barlow who has figured prominently in every game he has played including kicking a major in fine style. My own favourite, Ryan "Pebbles" O'Keefe, will once again be a leading light in the team along with those two stalwarts Adam Goodes and Micky O'Loughlin.
Cheer, cheer the red and the white!
